John Henry knows all too well their history, if they trade Crosby for a rebuild it’s back to the dark days of bankruptcy and potential end of the org. Hockey support just isn’t strong enough without a Lemieux or Crosby… dare I say lucking out on McKenna

Yeah, sound more like someone is trying to pull a fast one on Crosby. OC and Petey are 26 and 28, if they are good Pens shouldn't be swapping them for even younger assets. If they are bad, they aren't worth young assets that will make the team competitive.

In other words, they are totally tanking.

Keep in mind we’re talking about an org, Crosby personally hand delivers tickets to a significant % of their season ticket base - John Henry is no idiot, no Crosby no Pens franchise
