5 major is not a good call for this... Coming from a Czech fan. Hopefully it doesn't influence game too much, it was a good one in first period

I would say Koch's hit on Chlapík might deserve the major penalty more than the hit on Černoch. I am still not convinced it was the right call. On the other hand, I see the refs receiving clear instructions about being strict on knee hits because these usually are extremely dangerous.

We like to show the world how smart we are... bench the NHLer and play the Euro guy. Decade old story now. My fav was when we benched an NHLer for Pavel Francouz. Next year, Francouz comes back as an NHL goalie and we benched him for another Euro.

The only way to not get Hrubec to be a starter is to get him to the NHL. They'd bench him in a heartbeat.

Curious how this 1C experiment goes. I love the guy. Funny note.. I had him as the 4th best out of Necas, Zadina, Kaut and Chytil. Boy was I wrong.lol
