Elias had another strong game. He is not flashy but I liked his defensive game a lot.

I only saw a small part of the game but Slafkovsky looked way more impressive than Byfield.

If Byfield can't do anything in this tourney he obviously better step it up or he'll be a Yakupov type bust sooner than later.

Good game, Canada will have to work on things but I don't like walking away from this without giving credit to the Slovaks. They played a good game and made things harder for Canada, other teams are allowed to have good performances too.
