Something is wrong with this team. Vets still coasting, Laine can't buy a goal, no defence to speak of. We need to bring in some new life and get this team back on track. Come on Chevy go get Duchene!

Why Wheeler & Scheifele & Connor ended up playing 18:14 & 18:38 & 18:59 mins of ice-time, respectively, in a 7-1 game that was over well before the final horn... I have no idea. I feel like that’s inexcusable coaching.

Once the game is over in a blowout like that, it seems to me that we should limit the minutes of some of the key players who typically play lots of minutes to preserve energy late in the season and prevent injuries to key players (and keep their legs as “fresh” as possible for Vegas Friday).

Seen this movie many times before across the whole league.

~20 games to go, team playing like crap going into the playoffs..all the "It's a new season" speeches by the players... etc. And it always results in an early playoff exit.

Feb 20th today.. if this team isn't playing like a contender by March 13th ( 3 weeks ) get the golf clubs out.

And I payed for my playoff tickets today... so I still have hope.

Bring up Pascal Vincent to coach, hes done a good job with a make shift Moose team.. Knows the players a bit..

The Moose atleast look like a team and show some fire and heart. Was nice to see some nastiness altho 2 late.

I have learned there is no point wasting time feeling sorry for myself when things don't go my way.

We played no defense tonight and took way too many penalties.

I'm still not sure why our lone goal counted.

Frankly, I'm not sure we need to spend prospects and picks on rental players this season.

We deserved getting our asses kicked.

Well, not really. Maurice has stated numerous times that he doesn’t say much while letting the vets guide the younger players and providing leadership.

Trade deadline cannot come soon enough. One way or another, a clear statement has to be made. Maybe Chevy can join in with Maurice in stripping the varnish off the lockers with an angry tirade? Hell, at this point I'd settle for Dancing Gabe dropping some F-bombs.

This game was a stinker, head to toe. Team still has the pieces, team still has the potential. As the saying goes, when you're on your back in the gutter, at least you know which way is up. And I still think this team has what it takes to get it together in the next eight weeks. Lord only knows what some fresh blood would do.

Scheifele and Wheeler need to be split up because they've become complacent and focused only on offense.

Team lacks discipline, led by Wheeler and Myers.

Worst game I've seen Morrissey play, ever.

This will need to run it's course - flippin the lines is more chaos - seen it tonight.
Coach needs to settle them down - not mix them up.
