I don't think if it matters if we got 3 shots or 33 in the period. The majority of our shots are point and perimeter shots. When we do get in close enough for what could be a high danger chance, it's either shot wide or overpassed.

No one on this f***ing team has a killer scoring instinct to put the puck in the net. We got shut out and Andersen didn't even have to break a sweat.

Rangers, continuing to make goalies they play against look like Vezina winners.
It's hard to explain. They create the chances but a lot of times they're not planned out, compared to teams that actually have a plan in the offensive zone. When you don't have it planned, it's more based on reactions and the resulting shot isn't the best or they muff it. They improvise a lot of their plays.

That drop pass is going on Trochek's permanent record.

I'll seriously never be able to unsee that.

Great defensive play made at his own blueline to give himself his own breakaway and he tries a between the legs drop pass. These guys playing too much NHL 25.

I 200% agree with this. The only time we look like we have a plan in the O-zone is when we're playing pitch and catch on the perimeter and the blue line for half a minute. Literally the only time they're making purposeful actions.

So absurd. These guys are supposed to be NHLers. What the f*** was that.
No idea. Their guy actually let Trocheck go so he could prevent Miller from getting a rebound. The guy conceded the shot and Vinny still drop passes it, thru his legs yet. I can't explain it. There is no explanation

Personally I'd rather see them fall off again and become sellers at the deadline as opposed to squeaking into the playoffs and getting blown out in the 1st round. Plus the bigger issues at hand are the purging of the roster, which needs to happen. Sadly, losing is the only way to expedite this. So I'm all for them missing the playoffs if it means we get to purge some more of the core and semi-core.
