Laf’s trade value is going to continue to decline. Rangers should unload him while they can still get a good return. He is displaying a lack of heart, grit, and commitment to get better to be a part of a future championship core. I desperately want to believe - but I am just not seeing it as he begins his 2nd contract.
1st step, get him away from Bread and Vinny too

If you’ve got back problems you’ve got everything problems. Also this guy better not play for team USA

Brings up an interesting point. If he's so hurt, should he really play in this Four Nations thing?

Here's a nice little tidbit from the tournament:

*Pietrangelo withdrew from the tournament Jan. 26 to tend to an ailment and prepare for the remainder of the regular season.

Obviously easier said than done but yeah, get rid of all the country club veterans and actually turn the reigns over to the kid(s) for a bit before dumping them for garbage returns.

I know, I know. It's not the Rangers way. Still, it at least feels good to type it.

No way he should be playing if he’s hurt and it’s tanking his play this bad.

@Machinehead Just read that your hero Ionescu will appear in a Super Bowl commercial
Did you know that her signature shoe is the second most worn shoe in the NBA? It was also the #1 seller on Nike's website.

In year before she was drafted the Liberty averaged 2,239 fans in attendance. Game 5 of the Finals was attended by 18,086.

The Liberty also won the 1st overall pick the following year and they traded it. They were just like "nah, we already got Sabrina."

Not since Sidney Crosby has a single pick in any sport saved a franchise to this extent.

These are things I think about when I watch Lafreniere.

Like I said last game, bunch of losers. Starts with the coach. Coach is a loser who runs the same PP unit out there over and over and over again while they fumble pucks and have no success continuously. No discipline on this team either. What happened to playing more north south and clogging the neutral zone being tighter defensively which worked on the road trip.

They follow up a devastating loss Sunday with this beauty Tuesday. Team is a joke. Bunch of mental midgets. There was a glimmer of hope for about 3 weeks and then their true colors showed. Panarin playing his worst hockey of the season. Long shifts. Turnovers. Poor defense. Its all falling apart. Lafreniere completely invisible.

Most visible guy is Chytil and we are about to trade him.

Fire Laviolette

The bad habits have returned. The Rangers won the Philadelphia game because Igor was terrific. The last two games the Rangers have given up goals early in the game. Igor wasn't very good against Colorado. He could have stopped the Svechnikov shot but he kept them in the game until Carolina scored the second goal late in the 2nd period.

Shesterkin for 8 more years after this one. This guys contract will turn out to be Zibanejad level bad.
Unless the team in front of him is blown up and reconstructed, the Rangers are not going anywhere.

Yeah, that's not great. That's just f***ing weak. He'd be better off avoiding the camera and journalists for a while. Really there have been times this year when I've thought Mika needs a vacation. If we can't trade him give him an all expenses paid vacation to Aruba or Capri or somewhere.....just get him out of here. Kreider could go with him. When is the last time he scored a goal? Three weeks ago?

Anyway I think I need a vacation again too----my last one lasted about a month and a half. In a way I only just got back and now I want to go away again. I'll definitely need some reason to watch the next one. I just don't think this team has it and even if they squeaked in the chances of them getting massacred in the first round would be pretty damn high.
