Really wasn't a bad game at all except the score. Both goalies were good but theirs was a little better. Almost tied it a the end also. Kreider is good but had a bad game tonight. March has been brutal and Boston, Florida, and Colorado still to come.

Shitty tough schedule this week. Prove me wrong Rangers.

I was shocked we had 16 shots in the third. I know we had a lot in the last 2 and a half minutes but they didn't look much better to me in the third up to that point than the second.

I know he does this to a lot of teams but playing CH is demoralizing. Most goalies look like they're trying when they make saves on high shots. CH looks like he's taking a nap, pucks just bounce off him. This is Ben Bishop all over again but better.

BTW, 5 on 5 I didn't think the injuries on defense were that noticeable but the PK was putrid particularly the one they scored on we didn't touch or so much as pressure the players once on that PK.

WWF President Jack Tunney has just made an official announcement:

As President of the World Wrestling Federation, I am fully aware that the decisions of this office are not always popular, and that this one will be no exception. However, I cannot stand idly by and take little or no action in the face of such grievous circumstances. This past Tuesday in New York City, during the New York Rangers and Winnipeg Jets hockey match, I witnessed with my own eyes what I believe was a flagrant and far-reaching oversight on the part of Rangers Head Coach Peter Laviolette. Now Laviolette's decision for that hockey match is final; I will not challenge his official decision. However, under these circumstances, I have little choice but to decree that Rangers center Matt Rempe be reinstated, and to declare that the winner of the 30-man Royal Rumble will now become the undisputed WWF Champion. Furthermore, in regards to both Rangers defensemen Jacob Trouba and Ryan Lindgren, and in respect to certain legitimate claims each can make to return to the lineup, it is my ruling that they NOT be allowed to do so until all other options have been exhausted.

BTW, am I crazy or was Panarin invisible?
i don't know about invisible. certainly not one of his best games but off the top of my head there were two distinct moments where he made good plays.

He gained the zone, drew 4 Jets players to him, feathered a saucer pass to either Trochek or Laf to setup a shot. Brian Boyle even commented on this play in particular when he was between the benches on the MSG network. Panarin also leaned into a Jets player (scheifele?) and denied a near breakaway for him at the last second where he lost an edge. Brian Boyle also commented on this too, so did Joe M.

I recall him skating well in general in the beginning of the game. Didn't he also setup Laf for a good shot in the first also? Rangers played very well in the first, just didn't finish. Boyle made this comment as well.

This game had letdown written all over it for a number of reasons anyway. Panarin I thought was pretty good all things considered.
