Have these concerns about Demidov's skating always been around? Or is it becoming a thing cause we're getting closer to the draft and people just have to write about something at this point?

I have no idea. He could be the next Kucherov or the next Dadonov....hard to project especially with players playing west of Siberia

They've always been around, he's got a knock knee stance and relies on agility and edges like Hutson vs speed.

Michkov was more than enough. We could have had Michkov and most likely Dem this year andntraded our 1st late pick ++ for around 10 and get a solid D and almost be done our rebuild. But Herr we are. Lost a year and generational player

And how on earth did we lose on the generational talent? Chicago didn’t even finish in last place and had the honours.

Michkov has yet to prove he’s a better option to Reinbacher.

Please tell me that you knew last year on draft day that Dach would be out all year and that we’d be picking 5th overall and knew about Parekh, Dickinson, Buium, Levshunov, Silayev would all be stud prospects?

Michkov bros TLDR can be summed up as;

1-The Habs have no balls

2-Demidov & Michkov = Pavel Bure but better, like franchise multi decade altering level 💯

3-Any 2024 Dmen & Simashev(or Reinbacher) = Giraffes that can't make a pass

I mean, I called this team being dogshit this year. We'll be dogshit until we aren't. It can take a minute.

You may be right. But it's early to claim Michkov is generational.

It will come down to who this management team believes is the Best Player available at their disposal at #5. If they think that one of the Dmen is so superior than the best forward available then they should draft that Dman.
I was pissed last year for about a day with the Reinbacher pick but then it hit me...what the f*** do I know about who the best option was? The scouts vetted everyone and decided David Reinbacher was the best pick. Same goes this year...whoever they pick is ok with me.

Demidov mocked at #2: “I hope by some miracle he falls to us! C’mon Chicago, pick a Defenseman!!”

Demidov mocked at #5: “not so sure about his skating style. I wish I saw him vs quality competition. Too bad he’s way over in Russia. What’s up with the injury. Maybe we should go Defenseman!”
When Demidov is drafted #7: My god I can't believe the habs passed on a generational talent again, my god these guys are idiots uuurgggghhhhhh

I really thought we were taking a forward, and same as you, shook my head for a day or so.
HuGo was big on Reinbacher, as they were on Slaf...............
It's a process and here we are hoping these guys are making educated decisions, and not talking about throwing darts.

It's far from an exact science....really looking forward to the draft and what goes down....

With Dach in the lineup for even half a season, we are probably finishing with 6 extra points and picking 10-12th which is where I’m expecting us to pick next year and I wouldn’t go as far as saying we were dogshit ….we were much more competitive and in games, pretty much what I expected.

Shit team was SAN Jose, Anaheim, Chicago, they were world class diarrhea

You know what they do to horses that are knock kneed, we better forget about him.

He's been lacking physically strength in a major way all season long, he looks like a tooth pick on skates as his lower body strength will need a lot of work but the reason to be excited is if he can mature enough physically to say 6'0 190ish with his skill level he could be one of the best players in the NHL down the road.
