Worst Ranger on the ice by a mile. He's 100% done. Incapable of keeping up with MSL & Hags. Incapable of completing a pass. Incapable of winning a battle in the defensive zone.

Would the Rangers be better off with Moore centering that line and Carcillo/Fast/Miller in?

yup and i am not kidding. Miller is a disaster defensively but occasionally will win a puck battle and forecheck.

cant play a speed game with him...hes sooooooo slooowwwwww

the last time Richards won a board battle will be the firs ttime Richards wins a board battle.

If only they could buy him out now. Just in case he trips on his way down the bus stairs and injures himself destroying any hope of a buy out.

he was embarassing tonight but JT Miller is the only option for 3rd line C and he makes dumb decisions too. at least miller can skate and has strength at this point.

Either way won't matter. You can't beat the Kings and the refs.

There is a difference between being invisible and looking like u don't belong in the nhl. I know we give Nash crap for being invisible (not today, thought he was good) but that was one of the worst single performances I have every seen. And I'm not saying that cause we lost but that whole line was wasted and our power play also. We scored on pp cause Richards wasn't involved. I usually wouldn't want to meddle with what has gotten us this far and the fact that he is one of our leaders but something needs to be done.

He won't be a healthy scratch but he is clearly tired. He showed some signs of good play throughout the playoffs but I think it's fair to say he is done now.

Richards was a liability, I thought Nash was fine and nearly won the game on his drive to the net (Kreider couldn't elevate the rebound).

Richards was embarrassing, falling down in the neutral zone and turning over the puck leading to multiple chances for the Kings. He's holding Hagelin and MSL back.

Richards is the "de facto captain" and I can't think of anything positive he's done in these first two games.. two games that had the tiniest margin between winning and losing.

I was thinking the same thing lol. I honestly don't think Richards has anything left in the tank anymore. Throw someone in there that at least has a chance to win a one on one battle.

Yup, 5 goals in 38 playoff games is fine for a superstar making $8M per season. He is awful and probably the worst superstar in the NHL.

If Nash played badly tonight I'd be the first person to say so. He played hard and well. His salary has nothing to do with which players should be on the ice for use in this series.

Richards has more points and goals than Nash this postseason. While he is dreadful and absolutely hurting this team, he has been more productive than Nash. Go figure.

What a waste of $16M this season.
