Just curious .... does someone have a link I can use for daily shl games for starting goalies ,lineups etc...

I’d like one link for that purpose too, actually. For my fantasy team, I’m going between teams’ instagram pages checking lineups 1-2 hours before faceoff. I don’t know of any site that posts all teams’ lineups before games.

I bet sometimes shl games in the afternoon when I'm checking prospects from the wings but I never know the starting goalies or if there's injuries

Sometimes I take the much better team with spread against a horrible team and the horrible team destroys them which further convinces me sports are rigged or I'm missing some gameday info lmao

Either way I'm sure theres info out there on gameday I just cant find it. Hopefully someone knows of a site that does that

It’s more about that the better teams aren’t fully focused every night in the regular season. Makes it hard to predict when they will be on their game or not. You see the same thing in the NHL. Chicago, San Jose etc sucks but on the right night they beat the best teams.

@vorky

Thanks for the link. How soon prior to games are the lineups posted, usually?

I’ll probably try vorky’s link tomorrow, I’d wager teams are obligated to share their lineups with the Swedish Hockey Federation in due time prior to games and hopefully they update their match pages as soon as possible thereafter.

On Instagram and other social media, you usually receive some insight into players missing in the comment sections, since fans always ask about such and such being off the roster and people with local news subscriptions might share if it’s injury, illness, family reasons, etc, and how many games he’s likely to miss.

With regards to betting, I’d say the SHL’s usually a fairly even league from top to bottom. Modo’s been the last place team for most of the season, but they sit a mere two regulation wins from a playoff berth. This season has a pretty clear top-two of Brynäs and Färjestad, then there’s a gap to places 3-5, and a similar gap to basically the rest of the field. Upsets are bound to happen with this much parity, plus it’s a pretty low-scoring league with tactically sound systems all around and few game breakers.

I haven’t paid close attention to Modo this season, but last year when they were newly promoted, they didn’t really have the player material to compete in the long run (of course they did avoid relegation which is the main objective for promoted HA teams not named Brynäs, as usually they haven’t had equal opportunity as SHL teams have to compete for player acquisitions). What made them somewhat competitive especially early on I felt were their tactics that were fun and I’d say kind of novel in the SHL but more akin to NHL hockey, where you’re taking shots from almost anywhere. I thought they reminded me of the NHL Hurricanes with their opportunistic shot taking.

I don’t have any great betting tips. When Färjestad’s starter was out and they had to play 19 year old Italian rookie Damian Clara a ton, they were in for a few upset losses. I tend to spend like a dollar per match day on a number of bets going in, and there’s almost always a tie or two and there’s almost always a couple of upsets.

I can not tell you. Guessing it is similar as with other leagues, so some 30 minutes. This link is for a website of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association, you can find there also Allsvenskan, & other leagues (various age groups), plus games of SWE NT. You can check any game, just go to schedule.

Other option is to visit the official website of the SHL.
