Lou has his faults as a GM, but his biggest strength is not tolerating any bull**** and the culture of putting the team first. If the top guns tune this guy out just like babcock, keefe is finished

MM is really not the smartest guy when it comes to media question.
Pretty sure this is not a big thing and it is normal. Like Keefe made a comment about top guys and MM asked what he meant....but the way MM sounded it really made him look bad.
1. This quote made MM looks entitled and refuse to take any criticism
2. MM seemed like he is the one in control of the team instead of Keefe

Ofcourse, what I said could also be true and MM just think he is running the team and is currently the team MVP.

I think there is a dressing room problem.
Even if Keefe's comments are unclear, he doesnt need to explain it to the media. When he explained to the media about what he meant is basically a public apology to the guys he was pointing out.

I guess the question is, do we want these players?
Its funny how the whole summer, some here kept stating one of the reasons Campbell is no longer a Leafs is bc he could not get it done in the playoffs the past two years but our top guys couldnt get it done in 4 years(since JT came).

Usually unemployed quite quickly. The comments from last year and this weak display make me think he may not make it to Christmas.

I don't think there's any way to look at it other than extremely troubling that Keefe had to walk back his totally reasonable criticisms of the top players having a bad night. His comments were more of a shot at the rest of the roster frankly

Strange, I didn't detect any ambiguity in Keefe's comments. Didn't he say: "The difference between us and Arizona is that we have elite players... Our elite players didn't play like elite players."

Isn't that stating, pretty clearly, that our best players have been performing below expectations so far? Isn't that what we've all been seeing and talking about as well? What's the problem here for the player?

Man. This club just needs to string together some W's and change the narrative. It's too early to be this annoyed, lol.

Keefe's days are numbered as coach now that the inmates are running the asylum. He's a good coach with a bad gm that's given him coach killing players that have no fight in them. Marshmallows & puppy dogs. Cuties.
