hahah "I am a passer"....It is funny, when USA played CANADA in the Olympics a couple of years ago, I remember one of the USA d-men coughed up the puck in the neutral zone and gave a Canadian player a breakaway...Everybody at the Brit gasped as it might be leading to a goal until we all realized it was Jumbo on the breakaway..Then everyone relaxed as he skated in and looked for a pass and when he saw no one there made a lame attempt to score...Of course everyone there ( mostly wearing Sharks jerseys ) collectively laughed and said "no worries...It was Jumbo. He had no idea what to do when he looked up and saw that there was no one to pass to" hahah

This "don't trade Thornton, at least he has emotion" thing is crap. He may fight people, but even then he looks like he's just going through the motions. He's showed absolutely no emotion this season, in addition to his crappy play, so that argument holds absolutely no water. I love JT to death, but he's pissing me the **** off right now.

I hate athlete/coach speak. They just state the party line, not what they really feel, so I'll give Jumbo a break on his comments.
That said, Fire TMac now. If the scoring doesn't come back by the trade deadline, then start trading for a rebuild.

The problem is that they've gotten plenty of chances to score. They just aren't putting the puck in the net. Last night they passed up shots and Marleau hit a post and Gomez whiffed point blank etc etc. I agree TMac has not done a great job so far but the players have got to bear down.
