I am heading up there for a youth hockey tournament and got tickets for day 1. My son wants to get some autographs, any tips you could give would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Its a brand new arena and this is the first event being played there. Wish I could be more help but Friday will be my 1st time there too.

Wow didn't know it was brand new. Been there before when (I think) the "arena" rink was just Rink C or whatever and was used as a practice rink.

Be polite, and friendly when asking the player to autograph your card. Get close to the players when they are exiting the ring but remember that athletes, like all celebrities, receive many requests from fans so they might not see you or have the time to sign everyone. So have patience. Good Luck.

Agree 100%. You'd think this was obvious, but for a lot of people they have this sense of entitlement "the fans pay your salaries!" I have the utmost respect for the guys that will take the time to give autographs and acknowledge the fans. I have a cool story about meeting Brent Burns at the facility and him coming over and high-fiving my 10u team (even though they were decked out in Ducks gear). Made their day.

That’s awesome. If I was a Shark player I wouldn’t care what team jersey the kids were wearing, it’s beyond rivalries to create a memory for the youngsters. Good luck man!

I'm going tomorrow! Would've loved to hang out all afternoon watching 3 games but heading down to boo the Ducks and cheer on the Sharks. Should be fun!

It does sound like the Sharks are doing SOMETHING for the game on the website. They might be streaming video, might just be audio, genuinely can’t find details.
The Sharks' website is an utter tire fire these days with how bad they are about posting useful news or info in a timely fashion. Is the uniform reveal even up yet? The morning after it still wasn't.
