Prospect Info: Sharks Prospect Info & Discussion thread XXI: "New, improved, and wayyyy to much info" Edition

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

Checks height... he's 6'3". Checks out.

Extremely tapered expectations for Lund. Maybe he can carve out a bottom 6 role.

Yes, Lund is a future 3RW if he hits his ceiling, more realistically a tweener fourth line winger. Expectations should never have been impact player, but he has a reasonable chance at being a useful depth piece.

lets not forget the 2022 draft where Grier ( maybe DW Jr ) felt the need to get bodies over the #11 pick ( Conner Geekie ) For 27 overall Bystad, Lund and Havlid. If they kept the pick and they might have someone that could play next season.

It's nice that we are bringing in Lund because there's talent. He deserves a shot to prove it in the pros. Hopefully, that light switch turns on because we'll have a NHL player then.

That's why they got rid of Zetterlund. You can only have so many Lunds at one time, so if one enters another has to leave.

Musty with 2 goals and an assist
Klee with a goal
Misskey and Rimashevsky with an assist
Pohlkamp with a goal and 3 assists

Nothing for Chernyshov? Failure.

I point this out every time this trade is brought up. Look at the guys taken one pick behind each of ours. The trade itself was stellar. The picks were awful.

On the topic of Lund, I think he will be a great add for the Cuda. I don’t see any NHL future there but I could see a very good AHLer.

I wanted Lekkerimaki that draft. We were in position to draft him but Mike Grier did Mike Grier things.
