Prospect Info: Sharks Prospect Info & Discussion Thread XX

Musty doing his best in trying to put Hertl behind us. Rooster trick and 7 points total tonight!!!

You either miscalculated or they took an assist away, ended the night with 4G, 2A, + 6.

Crazy thing is, this wasn’t a blowout but an 9-8 OTW.

The only worry I have about Q is game to game consistency (just from scoreboardwatching, but it has been brought up by others who follow the games as well).

Despite the inconsistency, he has a comfortable lead in PPG (1,85, then comes Cowan with 1,76, the rest of the field starts at 1,65).

It’s been a noted concern of his. Wheeler seems to think that’s much improved this year though. I haven’t watched much hockey outside of highlights this year because it’s depressing, so I’m just regurgitating what I’ve read.

I’m a Wolves fan who watches every game. Musty 100% has the offensive skill set to play at a very high/ borderline elite level in the NHL. He’s lazy defensively and takes quite a few penalties, both could be coached out with a good coach. Unfortunately Sudbury doesn’t have one.

Hey thanks for the scouting report! Appreciate it. I have a real strong gut feeling that Musty is going to be a star.

Do you think he could challenge for an NHL spot next year?

With a little luck, could be our Rantanen.

So Edstrom is Bystedt 2.0 floor but maybe JEE ceiling? I dunno I'm trying to see what we have in him considering that return is a return of all time.

Slight difference is we don't have a McKinnon lol. Then again I wasn't sure what line he was playing on when he came to the league

I can't skate at all but I'm fairly big and and as a left-handed shot my only real competition on the wing (discounting Eklund because he's obviously better than me) would be Smith, Zadina, and Barabanov.

I like my chances.

I think it’s a great way to get attendance up. Every game, the third line is made up of Sharks fans. They’d have to have their HFboards name on the back.

I’d absolutely tune in every game.
I played with Alex Daigle and we could probably use a goalie.

Yea he definitely could, depends if you guys want to bring him up early. I assume you’ll probably still be near the bottom so it’s probably not the best environment for a young kid to start learning, but hes physically ready for sure
