Chernyshov is a beast. Although junior points dont mean that much per se, and hes paired with Misa, and has perekh on the back end. its not like hes carrying the team alone...

Still, it's his size that has to be most exciting. 6'3", 225 as a 19 year old??? Beastly!

I wonder if he gets a chance out of camp next year? Such an amazing competition of hefty forwards coming. haltunnen (6'3" 210), cherny (6'3", 225), Musty (6'2" 200), Bystedt (6'3", 210), Lund (6'2", 195)... If they dont win the lottery and get schaefer, then potentially add martone (6'3", 210) to the list.

That's a lot of beef coupled with a lot of skill.

The Cuda will be terrifying to play against next season as I could see all of those players playing significantly for the Cuda next season.

Should Laubach and Muldowney get contract offers? They are both doing well in uni and could be good AHL depth.

Admittedly I haven't seen them but based on scouting reports and previous years, I'd be OK with giving Laubach a Barracuda contract, but I don't see the point with Muldowney.

Worth noting that in spite of each of them being in their 2nd NCAA years, they're both 20-21.

Right, but isn't that just COVID slippage? It delayed their development by a year or so?

I know it’s the OHL and Sam, as we’ve established, is too good for it — but for a guy who is supposed to have just ok hands, that was a pretty slick move.
I want all the young defensemen in the NHL now. To hell with it. Give me a blue line of Mukhamadullin, Cagnoni, Dickinson, Schaefer, Liljegren, Thompson, and Thrun.
