I really dislike the mixed messaging we're getting about this role. Sheng reported that the GM will get carte blanche but there are so many restrictions like Will can't be fired, the team has to compete, and a bunch of other crap like that. There's zero chance we'll have a good candidate coming to SJ and it's not because the candidate doesn't want it but because the search committee is absolutely unqualified
