Making the thread so I can post something.

Galiardi on postgame radio interview: two points "massive for us," confidence is the key for the Sharks, Galiardi's line just needs to play with more consistency. Jamie Baker saw Galiardi play well starting early and get rewarded later.

Galiardi finally showing what he can do, hopefully he continues doing so. Sharks iced nearly the best line-up they could really, and Havlat was really helpful out there. If they'd just bench Murray, we'd be gold heh.

Wow, yahoo's penalty summaries are messed up. It has Havlat with a 5 minute spearing and Wingels with 2 for "smothering puck".

I actually think the Sharks have looked decent lately. If they can keep up the secondary scoring and not shoot themselves in the foot every 2 minutes, they could turn it around.

So yeah... that Taylor Hall guy.

EDIT:
He gets a 9.5

The third line played well. Think Gomez should get an assist on the Wingels goal.

However, context required. This was the Edmonton Oilers.

There really isn't much spread after the top 2. But not getting it done in regulation I think is killing us more than anything. It speaks to a lack of cohesion and discipline. We lack a killer instinct and it shows in our OT efforts, as long as the sharks keep a playoff spot I won't expect change.

Though I do find it funny that tmac usually comes around to what seems to be the hfboards consensus (Colin white, demers, couture to Thornton wing, Gomez 3C, etc) but he tends to let his mistake fester and the change doesn't do much.

Point of order question:

During 2INT, Randy/Drew said teams are reseeded for third round and SCF could be all east or all west.

IIRC, that is not part of the approved realignment (and was actually only proposed in the previous proposal that the NHLPA rejected).

Can anyone confirm that Randy, Drew and the crew goofed up in answering the question about the new playoff format, especially as to rounds 3 and 4?

Time to play the "which defenseman started the most non-neutral zone even strength shifts in the defensive zone and posted a positive Corsi" game! Here's a hint, he sits in the pressbox a lot.
