Thomas is visibly quite a bit stronger this season, than last. He's a lot stronger on the puck, and keeps possession a lot more with an opponent banging on him, and he's a lot stronger on his skates as well. He doesn't go down on big hits like he has in the past.

Last year the PP would pass for 2 minutes and not even get a shot on goal. This season they are passing and getting prime scoring opportunities and actually shooting the puck.

Now that Perunovich has joined The Blues so early in the season, I think they will break the team's all time record for power play goals. They should be, at least 2nd to Edmonton (if not 1st) at the end of the season. And I'd rather have Perunovich on The 1st PP Unit, rather than The 2nd, that I proposed earlier.
