Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Can't wait for the post-mortem after the 2023 1st round loss to the Red Wings. We all know it's likely to be that level of humiliating.

We're one one more Petan/Malgin/Kerfoot deal away from "closing" in 2023. I can just feel it.

Ideally, I would move JT (even though I like him) for a younger cheaper 2nd line center, and then move the rest to upgrading goaltending. If Auston pulls through in the playoffs in a clutch way, make him the captain.

Like I said in the Media Availability thread, they should make the most of it. They won't be working in the NHL when their tenures here are finished.
I didn't agree with hiring Dubas and Keefe at the time. Nothing personal, I just didn't think that a franchise with a 50+ year championship drought should be hiring people to learn on the job. They tried that with JFJ and it failed.
Hire the absolute best personel available and make winning the priority above all else. The fans deserve better. 55 years....no championships. Not even an appearance in the finals. And here we are listening to the press conferences about how we're close? What the f*** is this?

Imagine a team with talent like we have and it's acceptable to lose every year because hockey is hard. Dubas and Keefe will be remembered as the clowns who had all the resources, the best team on paper but pissed it away because they're inept and can't adapt.

10/10 times now the vast majority of the core here has had a chance to eliminate a team and failed 100% of the time.

Disappointing, and yet sadly not surprising.
I don't feel as though Shanahan nor Dubas have earned the right for one more kick at the can, this year should have been their last kick IMO.

I think this is obviously their last chance and probably a full clear out of all if they loose again in the 1st round. Its a shame that Dubas is willing to go down with the ship as i think he is far better than the other 2. If he fired Keefe this summer and still lost in the 1st round, Dubas is probably safe as he can point to trying to make changes etc. Without any major changes (i don't expect we will see the core change except for goalies either) Dubas will know he is done if they flame out again. Seems a really Loyal guy, if that is good for job prospects in the NHL is to be seen lol
