I didn't say Sweden didn't dominate. Sweden was obivously the better team, but the game went to an overtime and we had chances to score on OT. So we had a chance to win. Which is what I said.

Huh. If somebody told me after the opening 5 minutes thi will end 7-3 I would say, 7-3 Sweden, right? Objectively, it wasn't a 4 goal difference game. The Czechs just gained the momentum in the 2nd period with 3 goals in a quick succession, of which one was scored after a lucky/unlucky bounce, the second right off the faceoff, the third on an odd man rush. It was quite a crazy sequence, kind of a blackout for Sweden after the 3-2 goal off the lucky bounce. Of course the Czech team was working well defensively from than sequence on, but the moment when I said to myself "yes, this is it" came no earlier than with the 7-3 goal. Much closer game than the score might indicate.

The extra winner of the game: The crowd. They were absolutely fantastic.

The loser of the game: The refs. They were simply weak. Rutta should probably get 5+20, then they were trying a compensation and sent the same guy off at least for 2 minutes for nothing. Numerous unpenalised fouls on both sides, mostly tripping, hooking, holding. Some unnecessarily rough skirmishes. I wouldn't say the refs were helping either side, they just became lost in the game. A poor job.

But the way refs pushed Sweden today was completely disgusting lol, that unanswered slashing on Gudas was just a cherry on top. Complete clowns

Rulik completely shut us up lol, still I would like some younger team next year. It won't be a home tournament and we will gonna go there after a final appearance and successful tourney this year, so there won't be as much pressure.

And we certainly have the young guys now which is amazing so I would like to see them used more in senior nt.

But thats just something I will bitch about next year in April lol, right now everything is perfect
