We would have to pay them to take Mrazek, not the other way aroundSan Jose is a fit for him next season

They took Vitek vanicek for nothing. They grabbed barclay goodrow off waivers without getting “paid” for it.We would have to pay them to take Mrazek, not the other way around
I haven't.
I'm the only one here taking the wait and see approach.
It's good if Knight stays above .910 in his prime.

Wtf am I reading?
For the last 3 years you've drove the "Jones is a bum" train. You've said he's not a 1st pair D. You've said he shouldn't be on the PP. You're named 30 right shot D that are better than him. Just as recently as a couple days ago you said you would gladly take futures for him just to get him off the roster. Now that's he's traded you're on the fence with what Davidson got back?
You can't have your cake and eat it too. He's either a bum with negative trade value or a good player who got a really good return. Pick a lane.
What if they draft Gajan with the '26 1st? What if they draft Pastrnak?
The value at the time of the trade is Excellent. They got an up and coming goalie who will only get better and a pick in the 22-32 draft range.
I am so thankful for the ignore function.
Gets confuisng sometimes when you see responses to nonsense posts and they dont mention who they are responding to. As I dont see these posts, I just figure that Musto or Word Salad are up to their usual shenanigans and am again thankful for the ignore function.
honestly think giving up on Reichel would be a mistake unless a comparable player is coming back in a hockey tradeIf Kyle was smart, he would trade Mrazek and Reichel for future considerations!

I love Reichel and even if it is wishful thinking, I think he is going to turn out fine. It will be nice to see what players like Reichel and Korchinski can accomplish as the roster fills out with more skill around them. Hard to shine between Smith and Maroonhonestly think giving up on Reichel would be a mistake unless a comparable player is coming back in a hockey trade
Of course he didexactly. at worst, the trade is a B+. FWLIW (very little, lol), Laz gave it a C. wtf? if Knight hits, this is an A, all day, every day
We don’t want them to out tank usSan Jose is a fit for him next season
We don’t want them to out tank us
We play better without jones. Unless we can clone and play a lineup full of TJ Brodies we are cookedWe don’t want them to out tank us

Always can pay a 4th or 5th to someone else to retain half on Donato if necessary.Going to be an interesting week. Wonder if Donato gets a late first now? Hard to facilitate a trade with higher AAV’s since retention slots used up
So if Knight were to either flame out, or become a top 5 goalie in the league, that has no impact on if the trade was good or not?The outcome of the pieces of the trade doesn’t directly determine if the trade was good or not. 2026 1st has value, if you draft poorly that’s a completely different conversation.
If what you say is true, Hawks could keep Mrazek up, not play him, and buy him out in the offseason.I suppose sending Mrazek down is an option. But sending a veteran down who you just signed to a two-year extension looks bad. Especially to players and agents around the league.

Of course he did
