Levshunov and Rinzel won’t be ready so that leaves us with a RHD side that contains Connor Murphy and Louis Crevier. Not great.

Looking at the FA class there aren’t a lot of great RHD available. Ekblad is going to become Seabrook 2.0. The only kind of decent option is Pionk but I guess he’s probably staying in Winnipeg?

As of now our D next year looks something like this:

Vlasic-Murphy
Korchinski-Crevier
Allan-Del Maestro

Obviously at least two guys needs to come in or we will finish 33 of 32 teams.

A good overall trade for all parties....Jones was never going to live up to his contract, wanted out, looked like he wanted out, was insanely inconsistent and has zero creativity to his game. I like the Knight signing, but feel bad for Mrazek who was so good last year and so poor this year....not sure why....and it's always good to have multiple 1st round picks although I question KD and his late 1st round pick management.

Yeah, it was for sure the right move. Just asking what the next step is. While not delivering a performance equivalent to his salary Jones was still on of our better players and someone else needs to swallow up that ice time now.
