Boy, I sure hope the team is mentally tougher than the folks 'round here.

Any chance the Jackets' first home game is on Easter? That'd be fine with me...take the family to church in the morning followed by some hockey in the afternoon/evening.

Good chance the schedule will be Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and Tuesday.

We'll find out for sure Sunday night.

Wennbert, Atkinson, Gagner, Saad in slumps.

Hartnell and Karlsson in deep slumps.

Werenski out.

I'm going to guess that the CBJ will be -235 in the betting lines.

Why does everyone say Wennberg has been slumping? He hasn't gone more than 5 games without a point all season which he's only done twice. He's been one of the most consistent producers on the team.

I really don't care about the impression one way or another, but this one is easy to answer.

Split for March. Sure didn't produce much.

Alexander Wennberg, C 15 1 3 4 -1 2 17:49 0 1 0 0 20 5.0

Also I wanted to comment on the whole dirty player thing. If you go on YouTube and search for Dubi dirty play/hit you get more results of him being cheap shot then throwing them. I saw 3 from him 1 I thought was a clean hit on Koivu but even if that was dirty 3 over a career chronicled on video and thinks a guy hated for his play style if there was more evidence it would be there.

Now do that same thing for Crosby and Jesus is that guy dirty. The slashes and the slew foots and jumping a guy already ties up punching the back of his head and then what looked like he was aiming for his balls but went straight to the *******. All of his fights are either him taking someone down, jersying them, or jumping them. Then the dive and complaining compilations... how can anyone honestly say Dubi is the dirty/garbage guy?!?? I get one is a much more generational scoring talent but does that excuse everything?

Honestly from now on just tell the people to show the evidence and proof of this historically more goonish then the broad street bullies team we have here and you can immidietly flood them with infinite proof of their team doing worse... They would still not comprehend it but at least other fan bases could.

Well playoffs will not begin until next Thursday or Friday. That should give Zach enough time to heal (I hope).

Pens fan stopping by to wish you luck. I would like to see you guys win your first ever playoff series, you guys deserve it for how long you've been in the league and supported your team.

Just not this year  but as long as it's not against the Pens, I will pull for you for your first series win.

If you guys do get past us, please beat the caps (ill be rooting hard for you there) and represent the metro well moving forward.

And when Wennberg produces a "point", it is usually only an assist. He gets his point on the cheap off other other players' goals. Yes, I admit it, I value goals scored more than assists.

You do know that #10 does more than play offense right?

The undisputed greatest player of all time didn't play a lick of defense and got more than 2/3 of his points "on the cheap off of other players goals".

What did Alex do, kick your dog?
