Pixies (the origin of it all!), Dinosaur Jr, Pavement, Sebadoh, Superchunk, Hole, and could go on and on.
meh. Made some nice plays, made some lazy ones. Same old same old
Is it their Doolittle reunion tour (was great when they played it in Ottawa a couple of years ago) or the new material (surprisingly not bad at all)?I'm seeing the pixies in a few weeks.

I seem to recall you saying you also went to that reunion concert in Gatineau at the hockey rink. Memorable stuff! Kim had that goofy drunken smile the whole night. I have the live CD that they pressed on site.
Is Kim Deal still in the band?
Regardless, you're in for a treat, I hope. At their best, they are absolute MACHINES on stage. Hopefully it isn't one of those "going through the motions" concerts that sometimes unfortunately happen.

I'll use newer technologies to reproduce the material and get it to you sooner.Yep! Probably in my top-3 concerts of all time, if only because up until that point, having the Pixies re-unite seemed like the most unlikely thing that would ever happen, and I was convinced I'd never have an opportunity to ever see them live.
And I NEVER BOUGHT THAT CD!!!! If you want to burn me a copy, I'll be in Ottawa again this summer, and will gladly give you $20 for it (the burned copy), just for the memories.
I have Trompe Le Monde on original cassette tapeI do own one pixies album on vinyl, Bossanova.
