If you really think Evason would transformed these bums into playoff material I don\t know what to tell you. The problem with this team ain't the coach.
 
These are the results that you will get season after season when you don't have any high end talent but half the roster is paid like superstars.

This Team is very loyal to its trend that is going on for past 3-4 years now



Get to the bottom of the league

Stay there or win a few games and get close to a wildcard spot

Start to losing again and end up in bottom 5

Go on a good stretch to finish the season just to get out of the basement
 
I just wanna point out to the people who were shouting that by points percentage we're still in the 2nd wildcard -- we gotta win *these* games to make up that difference. Losing to the Sabres ain't gonna cut it.

I can't see why this team is going with Forsberg anymore. Maybe it isn't even his fault but this team doesn't trust him and we'd better see Leevi start until Ullmark's back, unless it's a back to back and they think it's unavoidable.
 
I don’t know if anyone heard Travis Green’s media just now… but he did his best DJ Smith impression. “Liked some things but made a couple mistakes, other goalie was good, look at the shot count”.

There’s something in the water at CTC that makes coaches and management walk on eggshells around these players. Are they that scared of Big Walt calling them to get his son out of town?

Just a terrible effort from everyone. Forsberg wasn’t good but my god they can’t score or even make a good pass. I unfortunately had to witness it in person. It was a morgue in there. As depressing as I’ve ever seen it.

Evason is an elite coach
 
Its really not that complicated...in the game of hockey when the teams goalie delivers good/consistent results on a game to game basis it tends to greatly impact the team/players in many ways. Forsberg in 13 games has a stellar 3.03 GAA and a .888 SV% ...the fact he has those stellar numbers having shutouts in 2 of 13 games makes them much more uglier.

This team does not need a goalie to stand on his head every game, by all means he is welcomed to, what they need is a goalie they can depend on trust.

Team scoring has completely dried up. That isn't on the goalies.

We have multiple problems at the moment and that is why things seem so desperate.

Scoring 5 on 5 has been an issue since November. With the specialty teams laying an egg, we have nothing to hang our hat on.

Dean Evason is not an elite coach! The man has never won anything :laugh: He lost in the 1st round 3 season in a row and then the Wild fired him last season after starting the season 5-10-4. Yeah is an elite coach alright!
