I'd say he's an NHL player. I am very interested how DJ / Dorion et al fill in this lineup.

I was thinking of that lineup this morning listening to 1200. We need to get Norris into a couple of games to try that line.

I like Smejkal. Think he'll be a good addition

It all depends on whether Norris starts the season or not, he has yet to play in an exhibition game & Pinto is still unsigned. If Pinto is not signed to start the yr than I assume one of Greig, Jarventie or Smejkal could be the 3rd line C & if Norris doesn't start the yr it's most likely Greig replaces him as the 2nd line C.

Winchester was coming back from a concussion getting bullied by Horton. Rookie Zack Smith was having none of it and cemented his roster spot moving forward.

I think Parker is more Max McCormick than Zack Smith. That’s not a knock, I think McCormick could have made it had he had Smith’s size. Tough to play that role at McCormick/Kelly size. Kelly’s got the concussion issues on top of it.

Yeah seeing how DJ is the GM. Who gave Kelly and Macewen one ways and is paying 4 players to not play for the team rn....

I think it's quite obvious he is one of the best 12 forwards right now. If it was up to DJ I am sure he would be on the opening night roster. However someone mismanaged the cap very poorly and that is not the coach's job.

DJ certainly has his faults but the amount of strays I see him take when it literally wasn't his job or his decision or his inability to execute sounds like a broken record.

I have a feeling Smejkal is on the opening night roster.

It’s every fans dream but those skilled guys never play on the fourth line. It aint happening. Macewen is here for the long vault unless someone wants to trade for his 3 year contract????? Doubtful
