Don't Hold The Door
By best of all time, I just mean critically rated wise. Quite frankly, my favorite video game movie is Dead or Alive. >_>
The Ratchet and Clank movie is ****'ing awful dude. It's a pretty unanimous opinion from everyone that has see that movie.
Just because you don't like Angry Birds doesn't mean it's not a video game. I don't enjoy playing it either, but by just about by any definition of video game it fits the bill. It's not a great, deep or particularly good game, but you can't just exclude stuff you don't like from definitions.
I don't even dislike angry birds. I played a ton of it on the bus back the day. It's just such a ridiculously loose concept to designate it as such. Like, I wouldn't call Ferris Buller's day off a musical because he sang twist and shout. Clueless isn't a Jane Austen film because it's loosely based on Emma. Angry birds isn't a video game film because they adopted a couple models (and not one bit of narative because there isn't any narative in Angry Birds) from an iPhone app.
This isn't a gaming or film forum because we're having this ludicrous conversation.
