Watching the finals on NBC is so much better than watch them on CBC.

And christ, did Sidney glue pubes to his face?

Sportsnet, not CBC. At least not a CBC production. The megalopoly of Rogers gets to use our publically funded broadcaster to diseminate their sub par corporate driven "content".

I don't know if you guys are baseball fans, but this gave me one of the better chuckles I've had this month.

A little too early to be laughing this loud. :biglaugh:

Finally caught onto Dexter after all these years. Just started season 7. Can't get enough of it. Heard rumors of a possible revival and a 9th season is coming? Hoping they're real, but they're probably false, since my hopes are already up.

Dexter was so good at the beginning... then really fell off the rocker. The last season I barely finished... that said I loved it for the most part. Although my dreams were very dexter related during that time

Today is the big day!
Feeling actually like it is a normal day.
Though the rehearsal yesterday it felt a bit surreal practicing everything.

Last act as a single man, watching the Warcraft movie at a friend's place.
It's SO terrible. Complete fan service.

I think this rivals Uwe Boll for levels of how bad it is

Tampa Bay's home field has catwalks across the top of the stadium, and sometimes balls that would normally be homeruns hit the catwalk and rebound back into play in the field.

I was forced to go to a game there one time. That stadium is garbage. I left after an inning or two and hung out in downtown St. Petersburg instead.

It goes by in a flash, try to take time to savour it.

Then who knows, maybe you'll choose to be in my position next.. which is awaiting the imminent arrival of your first child.

I've always been an old man at heart.. so in a not-overly-fatalistic-way I realize this stretch of my life is probably the craziest and most awe inspiring time I will have in my life.. so I try to take time to appreciate it.

Congrats!

Oh man, this. Totally this.

Our wedding day was a massive blur. It's just a whirlwind of crazyness, and then you eat, and then social, and then that's it. You're so focused on making sure to say hi to everyone that the whole day is just a surreal excercise.. talk around from table to table, talk with people you haven't seen in a while, and mostly people just want to talk AT you. They just tell you about their own wedding and what to expect, and they expect you to take all of these lessons they are trying to teach you to heart about what to do now that your married, but you just have to politely agree with them because it's a wedding and you don't disagree with people who just traveled thousands of kilometers to eat one overpriced dinner and give you a blender, so you just smile and remember all the crazy stuff people told you so you can compare stories with your wife after the day's over.

Best pre wedding story so far is her parents friends that came up..
Husband worked (retired now) as an anaesthesiologist. Says that we'll need to get rid of the dog and cat if she wants to have a baby or risk of toxiplasmosis or something like that. She's got a health background herself, so she told me she really had to bite her tongue about a response because it's based on old wives tales type information

Had a lot of time for 1 on 1 with Netflix when I was on a work trip to Australia a few weeks ago. Watched the Netflix/BBC original series call Peaky Blinders. This show is one of the best out there. A must watch!

The shame here is that Netflix does pay for the rights to play it in Canada. So you know what to do to watch it
