Would it not be fairly easy to move it to somewhere like the UK or Germany? Hell you could probably have it in any European country with little prep time as all the stadiums are already there.

US could do it no problem too.

But yeah all indications are they aren't moving it. Which is too bad.

They could even to Korea, Japan, Australia if they wanna keep the continental rotation thing going.

Silver lining is that the workers rights issues are getting attention. Without all the focus on it there would be more time before this amount of awareness exist.

They'll get attention, but nothing will be done about it. I mean, the damage has already been done to an extent.

A lot of people are optimistic because of these recent developments but I 100% believe that FIFA will continue to be a cesspool of corruption. At least until there is an entire overhaul that sees Blatter and his lackeys stripped of their positions and thrown in jail.

I think that something might be done at some point. And isn't the same kind of thing happening in all major Qatari construction?

Welp. UEFA just dropped a bombshell. They're calling for the immediate postponement of the FIFA Presidential elections. They also might be boycotting congress.

I have a feeling they could get a few other conglomerates on their side in all of this. Pull in CONCACAF and CONMEBOL. Maybe FIFA might be forced to see out a lot of their corrupted parties.

Should be interesting.

Worker rights are atrocious. The number that have died is no where even close to being the same as any recent World Cup or Olympics. Qatar also won the rights through bribery.

These numbers have grown since this infographic was made, I believe. But here is a frame of reference. Total number of deaths related to the development of sports facilities through labour.

Woke up from falling asleep yesterday around 8 because I was soooooo tired and had some delicious, chilled watermelon from the fridge. I love fruit in the summertime. Who else loves fruit in the summertime?

Not happening. It would be stupid if they did, as that would guarantee Blatter's victory. Even with 100% UEFA support, Prince Ali still might not have enough votes to win.

Logically, a vote wouldn't be held if UEFA backed out, but with how corrupt FIFA is, I wouldn't have been surprised if they just continued on.

Jarrod Maidens has been continuing to work hard to try and get his hockey career back on track... in whatever form it may take.

was supposed to be fisher 2.0. religious wise at least.
Was pumped when we drafted him. Hope he can get back to top health soon.

I just went out to look at the main boards and it took me less than 30 seconds to close the browser entirely just to stop seeing what I was seeing.

Man, why do I keep doing this to myself? The main board is some strange form of sadomasochism at this point.

I just made the yummiest meal. I based it off the Holy Crap product I saw on Dragons Den:

Oatmeal
Flax seeds
Hemp seeds
Chia seeds
Blueberries and raspberries
Honey

Put it all in my steam cooker for 15 mins. (berries at the end). Really filling, surprisingly cheap, healthy, environmentally okay and, most importantly, yummy as hell!

So my mom, sister, and I all have passports expiring in June 2016. Since most places don't allow you in with a passport with less than 6 months left we decided to get ahead and renew early.

My mom went to the passport office earlier today, and had no problems. My sister and I went a little later, and we got refused (we both had the same guy, but different than my mom). He said that it is a policy that they don't renew more than a year out without a reason. I said one of the jobs I have applied for consists of travel to Europe, but he said that wasn't a good enough reason. When my mom went she said that she needed a new passport number to give for her European river cruise next year, but apparently the guy never even asked why she was renewing 13 months ahead. How can there be such inconsistencies?

Chia seeds are pretty good.

I usually just toss some in a water bottle and give it a shake. Then let it sit there for 15-30 minutes and drink it. Creates a very small jelly like texture that's easy to drink too.

It isn't inconsistencies as much as you unfortunately had to deal with a dbag.

Technically the dbag is right but your mom was lucky in that the clerk she dealt with didn't get off on enforcing rules for the sake of it.
