My girlfriend is a huge Mass Effect fan. You might even say that she's a . . . . massive fan!

Anyway what she's told me is that according to Bioware, Shepherd's story is complete. ME4 is going to be a sequel but its going to take place in the distant future. Something about how humanity is leaving the milky way to explore another galaxy.

This is fairly promising.

I am more than content with closing out Shepherd's story. While it did not get a serviceable ending in the slightest (holy, I'm still so very bitter about it all - I mean, that stupid ****ing Catalyst b*tch...) I think it ran its course.

I have a lot of faith in that BioWare team as long as EA doesn't rush them to hurry an unfinished product like last time. ME:3 was awesome until the final 15 minutes and ME:2 is still one of the best games that I have ever played.

Fingers crossed.

I'll be buying a new console for this game. SPECIFICALLY to play this one game. Might not even ever buy any other games.

That's how much I want to play Fallout 4.

While I enjoy both systems, I recommed the PS4 simply because it's UI isn't a sluggish mess unlike it's Xbone counter part. I freaking hate the Xbone's UI with a passion.

Also don't limit yourself to one game, there are great games out there.

Are the UI all that different? To me they are both similar with the tiles..

That thread is all kind of weird.

People agreeing that ME:2 and ME:3 are vastly inferior to ME:1?! Quite the opposite if you ask me, but alright.

People also willingly cheer for Toronto and Montreal so :dunno:  To each their own I guess.

This year/next year should be pretty good for games. I can't wait :hyper:

Mass Effect 2 was light years better than the first, still haven't gotten to playing the third though.

The first one wanted to be a hybrid RPG/shooter but it just didn't work very well: to their credit they decided to go full shooter and limit RPG elements to noncombat elements which makes a lot of sense

Also those of you who enjoy video game talk should join us on the Geek Emporium, it's a bit like NeoGAF but far less negative

The visuals are very impressive. Bethesda has always been able to produce killer reveal trailers. Great atmosphere and it managed to show a good chunk of the game off.

I still remember the Fallout 3 reveal trailer and how awesome that was, yet it was so incredibly basic.

Why all this talk of buying a console for Fallout of all things?
PC all the way, so you can mod it into something playable since Bethesda is terrible about bugs.

Also, Bethesda Fallout is basically a post-apocalyptic Elder Scrolls (ie Skyrim) for those not familiar.

The PS4 UI is fast and easy to navigate. The Xbone UI is just a pain in the arse, especially if one does not have the kinect. It's a cluttered mess.

Also, what is a good mp3 player to buy? I want to get away from Crapple Ipods and itune.

i prefer the world, characters and humour (dialogue), and gameplay of fallout after playing all the games. course that is up to personal taste. fallout 3 is the best game I have played.
