I'm a thirty two year old man who dislikes onions immensely.

Oh, my apologies, I didn't mean to imply you were actually six, I only meant that only a child has any excuse to complicate their lives by despising one of the basic building blocks of all food.

If you've been with someone for about a month as of now, only official for about a week, how much do you spend on them for Christmas? Obviously not a lot, but any guesses?

Well it'll be two months by the time Christmas rolls around.
I wouldn't be buying a ring, but probably something in the same budget area you'd get a best friend or sibling.

Or you have the conversation with them and set a limit (then go slightly over so you win! ;)).

Yeah both of those points are good advice, I feel like the 2nd one is best, because it avoids the potential of disaster haha.

Buy 'em a sack of onions.

Onions give you bad breath.

Tickets to a sporting event

That's a great idea, but then again take note at where I live ;)

A sack of onions is a 6-month gift. What are you, Professor Moneybags M.D. over there?

Two onions, tops. Three if it's been a REALLY good first month of the relationship. You don't want to come off looking like a sugar daddy.

... a sugar daddy for onions. Onion Daddy?

In Poland, onions are the diminutive currency. 100 onions is equal to one pickle.

1 Canadian dollar is worth about 3.5 Polish pickles.

I have friends in which just met their love ones and somehow is already moving in with them. Literally a month relationship. These people are pathetic.

I'd say 50$? Then again, I've done the mistake of buying someone a gift and never heard from them again.

The secret Santa thing at my workplace is minimum $50 before taxes. I'd say you should spend as much as you're comfortable with.

I would just buy her a really nice book that reflects both how you view her intellect, as well as how you view her romantically. If she doesn't like it, dump her.

Have a casual conversation with the individual about Xmas, holidays and gifts in general.

Find out where they stand on those things. For all we know, there might be financial limitations, religious or personal philosophy conflicts with the holiday season to consider.

Is he a casual leaf fan or one of the leaf fans that come to the games in Ottawa?
If the latter then you should spend $0 on him.

Hahha yall are hilarious.

And he's a casual leafs fan. But he's going to his first ever NHL game tomorrow night (leafs game).

Would it be bad if I semi-hoped the leafs win for his sake. I feel like that would be bad.
