I was just always awkwardly with Sam when I was with him, never really spoke. He approached ME on the bus today and struck up convermosations. He did graduate but he has two years of eligibility left.
Hopefully he can beat ****faces aka Carleton Ravens basketball.
Hey, that's my alma mate's best feature you're talking about. Take a long walk off a short pier, ******.
Agreed. There's also a big difference in look.
I can tell in 3 seconds if it's tailored or not. And if it's not, unless you miraculously have the perfect size, it will be noticeable.
It always makes me shudder when I see someone in a completely ill-fitted suit. Not that I'm a clothing snob — far from it, actually — but if you're going to be spending any money at all to look good, why not make sure you actually DO look good instead of just going through the motions?
I got a decent off the rack suit tailored when I was in England... then started lifting at the gym more.
I can no longer do the jacket up :/
Still hangs well open though. And I've got four wears out of it... hoping I can make it work for November. Then time to buy a new suit.
Happiness is a well-tailored suit. I got three for my job placement in February, and I wish I had more occasion to wear them.
The high end suits though, wow... I can't remember if it was in Armani or just the Savoy Guild... asked the sales rep what the difference was between the 'cheap' and expensive ones... took me into the section with all the 1200+ quid Italian suits... and let me try a couple jackets on. I would wear those things every day if I could afford them.
I take back what I said about happiness being a well-tailored suit. Happiness is a fancy Italian microfiber Bespoke jacket.
Carleton is ****ing huge holy **** I stayed here for a week in 2011 for a ref camp but did not travel enough to understand the vastness.
It's at least 4x the size of all of laurentian.
Carleton campus is magnificent. So sprawly. I bet I could go back there today, after being two years removed, and still find any classroom in the whole damn place.
Algonquin, though? Forget it.
