I don't think it is a human nature issue so much as a scale issue. There are loads of Mondragons across Europe that do just fine working under a form of communism that is far more pure than state run top-down models that existed in USSR, etc. Where they break down is they work best at units of hundreds or possibly thousands rather than millions. Making it functional globally involves devolution away from nation states, which is not likely in our lifetime or the one after.

Im voting NDP because I want a job when im done college. But I also want to vote Green because I want a planet thats habitable for humans.

This is true. The amount of money given to able bodied 18 and 19yr olds back then was a sad state of affairs.

Business friendly =/= more jobs. I'd say its the opposite. Businesses will take that extra profit, from the tax breaks, and wont put any of it towards employees. Its just an easy profit increase with no reason to spend it.

Jobs are created from a good economy. Something conservatism sucks at creating. The Conservatives job and only goal is to make the upper class richer and the corporations more controlling and profitable. They dont give a fudge about the economy or anyone in the middle or lower class.

hehe what i said was an over simplification, your break down spells it out much better I just don't think that its possible for the people on top to live forever as equals to those on the bottom. The greed, and power will slowly intoxicate someone who makes key decisions, and before you know it it's the USSR.
