GDT: Sens @ Leafs - 7pm - HNIC

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Finally some positive line changes, hope they last beyond the first period. Kampf being rewarded for his idiotic penalties. I hope Domi can adjust to being a shooter on this line and not necessarily a playmaker. McMann gets a good chance, he really needs to wake up.

I don't think this Leafs team is a cup contender. They have a lot of individual talent that allows them to scrape by and stay high in the standings. Will that work in a 7 game series? I know

The way it's headed I think they fall apart down the stretch and don't make a lot of noise in the first round. The energy and atmosphere around the team is moribund and even watching the games is a chore. Not sure how it happened but it's just bad vibes.

I fear the same... The team has lost all structure they were playing with. Horrific defensively and now the goaltending is mortal once more and not Vezina level so we aren't winning some games like we would have before.

Let's face the facts. This team is on a streak of being a middle of the pack offensive team, poor defensive team, with a largely cold PP and sub par PK.

Unless this team magically figures it out in year 10 (HA!), expect more of the same. An up and down first round where the series goes 6 or 7 games and after we talk about how the stars let us down, the goaltending didn't live up to expectations, and how we got out coached.

I look at this lineup and think.. that bottom 6 and defense is awful we are a better team than them. Why do I have no faith we actually can beat them?

I hope this isn't a freaking Berube 1 freaking period line change up. This should be the lines for a few games at minimum

I am less invested in the Leafs result tonight and more invested that someone give Tkachuk the “chicken wing” to the head

The morale of the team doesn't feel very high. From the outside looking in, you can see a direct line between the emotional fatigue, low energy directly coming from the captain. The way he speaks in public, the way he plays on the ice, the way he's frustrated by lack of scoring, and it flows all the way down to the rest of the team.

It's that too and you gotta wonder how much the Marner contract situation is effecting the room too.

These Marner apologists are hilarious. All of a sudden defence by a winger is held in high regard. We all know Marner can’t play without higher end talent and will cry and pout if put with linemates that Willy gets
Marner just has to get catered to why does bobby have to go to the second line all of a sudden like marner lines have to be stacced yet Hes the one who gets the praise let’s see him do some real heavy lifting

I think Domi on the top line is the right choice especially right now after he played one of the few games with heart this year.

No one expects him to be his dad but he has to bring some jam in order to play well. It was the same with Kadri when he was here.

Also, keep the bubble players hungry and fresh. Let's see if Robertson has a strong game. He can exploit the opposition matchups with his speed and shot.

You can't keep losing and playing poorly and remain static.

I have a bad feeling about this game. Also about the rest of the season.

This team lacks heart. They have the skill to go all the way. They lack the heart.

That's all I'm going to say.

Marners contract probably has little effect on the room but Matthews being a train wreck is probably big.

They need to snap out of it. Their future is directly tied to performance on the ice and winning.
Looking less and less

Not surprised if we get Ullmarked. He has some confinence right now. Only thing i am worried about. But we should win.

this is a 3rd coach for that core who hasn't accomplished F-all in the playoffs

If the coaches keep losing the room all the time then may be its the players more than the coach
