The difference is this team is getting better goaltending. They are worse in most other categories. They are not excellent at anything (except goaltending).

We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

Sens play hard and skate well.
They will beat a Leafs team that doesn't engage.

Now that Marner is away from Matthews, look for a great game from both of them. This change has been a long time coming. Also, Nylander will shine on the third line because he generates his own offensive chances.

Ottawa is a better defensive team than the Leafs. It's not really close either. Even just looking at basic stats like GA and SA, Ottawa is better.
this is a 3rd coach for that core who hasn't accomplished F-all in the playoffs
If the coaches keep losing the room all the time then may be its the players more than the coach
It's Berube. The new lines could be back to the old lines by the end the 1st
Really like the lines tonight. Splitting up Matthews, Marner & Nylander is our only hope at improving depth scoring.
Each guy is good enough to drive their own line.

Leafs have been awful on Saturdays this year and this is a big one... so I expect them to shit the bed.
The last game should of been theirs.
90 % of the time this team plays a meaningful game they f*** it up. I have no idea how these guys haven't figured it out to play a full 60.
Sorry usually optimistic but they've shown me so many times they are not willing to pay a price.
I hope I'm wrong and they come out and crush them but I don't expect it.

This has the makings of a 6-1 drubbing by Ottawa. Morale is low, game at home on a Saturday vs a team with all the momentum.

I don't think this Leafs team is a cup contender. They have a lot of individual talent that allows them to scrape by and stay high in the standings. Will that work in a 7 game series? I know
You watched the games and you think nylander is the one that needs to be sheltered?
I get why, but I think people are being a wee bit overly pessimistic. They aren't playing the '81 Islanders tonight (anyone remember these games? Like Thursday, I think the Leafs will play well in this game.
