Yeah sadly we went full hog into this window with a core of players that all have the exact same meek personality. You can win with a guy or two like that but you need a core player that is an absolute dog out there. We do not and will not have that with this group.

It’s not lack of effort. They try to win them and they work extremely hard, but they’re very slow footed making it difficult.

Are we watching the same game? How many times has the coach said “we need to play North, south” and your seeing Toronto dump the puck in and generate absolutely nothing… It’s been like this for almost 2 months..

They’re a team that’s made off of skill; that doesn’t make plays anymore, the best thing about them.

How is it the coach’s fault? He’s gotta make a system or at the very least change it.

Marner is a wimp, Nylander has an issue with effort, and Matthews honestly just looks like he's out there to collect his cash. Reilly is almost un playable at this point also. If massive changes aren't made to the core of this team it will probably be atleast another 25 years until Toronto sees a cup.
