Lol yea, in 04, flames got screwed due to no review on a puck that looks very close to being in game 6 of finals. Cameras were poor back then too

Seriously even though it would suck for the Leafs, I would let that goal stand as a good goal. That was a good play by the Sens and I hate good plays that lead to goals being called back over a bare offside that you need video review to determine if it was an offside or not.

I've always said that they should call back goals for offsides only if it were blatant and not if a player was 'offside' by a couple of inches or something that you need to review a replay on a dozen times to see if that play was really offside. As a hockey fan IT SUCKS to see a good play leading to a goal and then having it get called back over a minor thing as a offside.

Marner and Tavares have been terrible to start the year. Ritchie has been invisible and Rielly and muzzin have been poor as well. I really hope its a slow start cause if it isn't our team is in big trouble.

Well, I thought Nylander, Liljegren, and Sandin had really good periods. Tavares did too, but its feeling like how he was with Will last season: lots of grest chances, 0 finishing. Muzzin was great too besides being so ridiculously out of position on the PK.

why would you put muffin Marner in that shooting position? Why not Willy who has a 1000x better shot. I just can't stand how this franchise caters to Marner.

what's really concerning is that the narrative is that marner just needs to trust his shot more, and we see that so far in this early season where he's shooting a lot more. the problem with coaching and people around him telling him that is that it's a lie, and the reality is that sure, yeah, he should shoot more, but the main thing isn't that he needs to "just trust his shot more," it's that he needs to improve it, significantly, and THEN trust his shot.

Tavares and Marner aren't having any chemistry together. The only time Tavares has looked okay to me was on the 5 on 3 powerplay.

Marner is trying to turn into a goal scorer and not playing his game that he should be doing. Earth to Marner, you're a 20 goal scorer, stop trying to be Matthews and make simple plays and passes.

I don't know. His shot has more power but literally zero accuracy so far. He's trying to be too cute - would've likely had one actually shooting at the net instead of trying to pick corners.

I hope you're right man. I really do.

Weird to hope I'm right so much but be so pessimistic after two games to write that you already knew they weren't going to make the playoffs this year. But the bet shall be fun.

The team has enough talent that with the right mind set we shall win, and that loss hurt them last year after finishing first, they shall buy in and win at least a round.
