@Bleedred and I normally don't see eye to eye, but starting Mack Black against a very high octane Senzzzzz team tonight is highly suspect on the staffs part. If anything he should have been in nets for the game in Miami last Saturday night because he has won 2 of his last 3 games there, including once this year right before Christmas.
Mack Black is a cancer that needs to be purged from the NJD org about as quickly and gruesomely as you callous people purged my good friend and solid poster @RangerDoggo from this forum.

Hopefully watching him tonight doesn't put you in cardiac arrest, Bleed. We need ya for the DD + rants come playoffs. Thing is too Sens got a bunch of snipers on their roster so this is legit the worst matchup for Blackwood stylistically granted he sucks regardless but you get my point lol

Not gonna lie, Blackwood and Severson contributing in the game that gets us into the playoffs would be sorta fitting since how much they've been dragged the last 4-5 years. The former more deserving of it obviously, but something to think about if MacK does get the start tonight.

Not many people like this type of dog, which I say every time I talk to someone about her lol. And I constantly tease her that she's an ankle biter or a 12 pound rat lol.
She's extremely needy and extremely quirky. And unfortunately she does not like many strangers, especially MEN for some reason. Who the hell knows what happened to her in the 9 months she was alive before I had her.
When I went to the game in Sunrise last week I had to have to my friend's wife come to feed her and sit with her for a little, since I was gone for like 16 hours or something. She knows how to handle unruly animals better than most people, who I wouldn't trust my dog not to attack if they bothered coming here to check on her. And I bring her over to their house all the time when I spend the day there on weekends and stuff.
I've never went longer than that without her. She has separation anxiety of the worst kind when being left alone, even when I'm at work.
She's got some interesting quirks as well. Barks when people walk by the house. I'm sure she's in here barking all day when I'm at work.
For some reason the Amazon prime truck really irritates her. I think it's the door closing to the truck that sets her off.
And this is no bullshit. I just said Amazon prime out loud when to type that and she's gone to the other room to start barking. I think she's barking at another dog that she heard barking.
We are contemplating a trip to Jersey one day, something I haven't been able to do since I adopted her about 4.5 years ago when she was about 9 months old. I just can't drive with her in the passenger seat that long. I need somebody else to drive, so that's gonna either involve @Cage Helmet being the driver while I sit her in my lap in the backseat or my other friend that snowbirds down here. Neither of them live in my area of Florida, but they can come park at my house and we'll go up together.
I don't think she's gonna travel very well.

So I talk with two friends before the games. We have a group text chat and sometimes have a multiple person facetime call. It's @Cage Helmet and the snowbird friend I mentioned.
The snowbird guy is a Devils season ticket holder and we would go to A LOT of games together when I still lived in Jersey. He's got some kind of cheap flight pass and flies up for a day on game days and goes back the next day or if it's a long homestand he just stays the week. He works from home so it doesn't matter where he is. He met us at the games last week too, but both those guys live 3-4 hours from me on the other coast.
Anyway, I called him up about a half hour ago to tell him Blackwood was in. He hadn't quite gotten to the building yet.
He goes ''SON OF BITCH! I SHOULD HAVE f***IN STAYED HOME! IT'S 88 DEGREES DOWN THERE TODAY AND I COULD HAVE f***IN SURFED ALL DAY AND CAME HOME AND WATCHED THIS GAME AT NIGHT!!!!! BAAAAHHHHHHH!!!''
He was more pissed than I usually am.
That's what happens when you flew up and stayed a week in cold Jersey to see two losses against the Lightning and then another loss to Minnesota a few nights ago and then had to fly back today to see Blackwood start. At least he saw the Tampa win on the road.

This game has potential to be like that Florida game in December that I went to.
Where Blackwood got the win and played well.
And then he came out the next game and didn't last more than 2 periods after Boston blew him up. Because he's Blackwood and Blackwood sucks.
