I don't think it's unfair to expect the team to look competitive and keep it close in games we're losing. It's not a good sign when we're going from gutsy wins to distant losses - especially when we've gotten better since the deadline.
Everyone said the opposite in November when we were losing 1 goal games

So you’re suggesting the travel, and the loss of two hours in the process will have zero affect on the Senators performance Sunday night… right?

So are you saying the criticism tonight is unwarranted? Nothing wrong with criticism that is justified. In Seattle the Sens played a better team and had some bad bounces. Tonight their compete level is not there. Period.
I'm saying some of the criticism is unwarranted, not all of it.

Soogard has a bright future I think. If he turns into Bishop that's obviously a massive win but even just being a good backup is a great outcome.
