Kastelic played 3:11 ... When Pinto returns I think he's back to the pine or Belleville.

McEwen played more than him at 5:40

Chabot has looked bad for a long time. He has spurts of looking decent but overall I don't think he's what you'd want at that salary.

I really liked Chabot his first few years. I'm very confused why the sudden drop a few years ago. I was hoping he'd recover.

Did DJ playing the shit out of him during our rebuild ruin the player?

I honestly thought at first DJ had a big part in his inability to play but I just don't think he has that extra gear when it matters. He is always cruising at the same speed and does the same things that makes him unsuccessful.

Ill always like Jacques but I think there is a real disconnect with the players and him based on his age and demeanor..

Going 11-7 and 2 forwards play that little ... basically went 3 lines and a few filler shifts
JBD at 3:34 as well. He seems to have fallen out of favor

Kastelic is a very frustrating player. He's such a force when he decides to play physically. Unfortunately he's inconsistent with that aspect of his game. Alfredsson lit him up in his 1st game as an assistant coach for electing to fly by an opposing dman behind the net instead of finishing his checks. Kastelic looked visibly annoyed by the feedback as well. His attitude needs to change.

That Norris contract will cost picks to move.

Someone will take a chance on Chabot. Look at the money the Rangers threw at Redden.

Looks like We have far too many soft perimeter type players on the team. Need a Ridley greig type on each of the offensive lines to get into dirty areas and make life harder on other teams. A couple of D that will body check would be fantastic as well. Put a little fear into the oncoming rush at least.

I've always thought he was an AHLer to be honest...he can win faceoffs but I don't see much else. Then again when you get 3 mins of ice time the writing is on the wall...

The Norris, Chabot, and Korpisalo contracts are all looking bad IMO.

Korpi would look better on a playoff team, no doubt, but I still don't like him as a goalie to ride in the playoffs with his tendency to let in soft back breaking goals at the worst times after stopping every other shot.

The butchered glove save in game 1 was alarming to say the least. Brought back Nieuwendyk-Lalime flashbacks.

Thats on the players not Jacques ... The disconnect is they are being asked to play differently than they are used to.,
The bottom lineup guys don't have the same issues they just lack depth.

Agreed. I trust between Staios and Poulin they'll identify that and correct it.

I kinda have to hold on to something optimistic lol.. these days suck as a Sens fan.

This is the worst hockey I have seen during the entire rebuild.

Just too many guys on the team that want to play an easy pond hockey game. Not physical, cherry-picking, ignoring the little details, fun & easy hockey. There's a reason why Brady and Kelly were the ones that got that goal...going hard to the net is something only 2-3 guys in the team do with any consistency.

It's going to be a long time to break these guys of their bad habits.
