Well, it wasn't Stutzle and Norris out there at the end for a reason.

Yeah, there's bigger problems.

Eventually when our system is ironed out, the bottom six will need to be addressed. We have too many scrubs on the 4th line.

What the hell has happened to Stü. We assumed he would be even better this year, he is a shade of the second half of last year. Sandy started this year looking dynamic and bringing attack and crafty offense, he has seemingly taken that out of his game. The team is playing like crap, our star players are not playing like we know they can. Brutal.

I really can't wait until the exit interviews in April when it comes out he played the entire year injured...

I mean, his shot isn't near as good as it's been in years passed... and that sports tape hasn't left his neck/upper back yet.

- Move puck under pressure down low, doesn’t just rim it.
- Excellent puck carrier.
-Great puck distributor on the blue line. On the PP as well.
- He’s a quick decision-maker with the puck on the blue line.

Demerits:
- doesn’t shoot enough
- too casual in the neutral zone

I agree with that except quick decision maker, I've been complaining about Chabot's slow decision making (particularly on the PP) for years.

a lot like the Seattle game. They really stuck with it this game which is a positive.

Out PP sucks though and should be giving us more goals ..
They have a couple days before cgy, hopefully they put in some time on special teams in practice

Dominate what exactly? A lot of his mistakes are self inflicted.

I have explained it ad nauseam, but everyone looks like shit right now. Think about Stutzle for example, does he look anywhere close like last season? These players have been infected by being on a toxic ship for too long, anyone getting a new start on a « healthy team » will end looking good

Goaltending at both ends made some big saves, we could have easily had two or three, though they probably could have had 5.

Oh yeah, Forsberg gave them every chance to win tonight. Agree with @ChabotSen in that this team will become one whos offense will be generated off of other teams mistakes, forced mistakes by good d-zone play, transitioning into good breakouts.

Chabot has looked bad for a long time. He has spurts of looking decent but overall I don't think he's what you'd want at that salary.

With a little cap space the bottom six can be easily filled out.

This year was always going to be tight. I'm not super worried about it.

Everything else is a shit show

The first unit needs to forget about Norris. They have total tunnel vision trying to set up Norris for a shot. They don't even attempt anything else.

The second unit needs Greig immediately. Kubalik continuing to get opportunities is baffling to me. He's not just not scoring, he's actively hurting the team out there.

I agree they are telegraphing that. They at least need another shooting option on that PP.
