Just drawing off how things were handled for Bluesfest in the same area. I presume if something happened with the LRT they would have a fleet of busses there. Obviously in an ideal world we just don't have a shit train system, but what's done is done. That would probably be the slightly annoying contingency plan.I’m beginning to question if Lebreton is the best location. Very little access by car, an LRT system which doesn’t function well during the winter and also doesn’t service Kanata/Sittsville or Barrhaven. Is there a location with Highway and LRT access which offers development opportunities?
He'd likely be borrowing anyways, no? so I'm not sure that matters much. Also the sale involved gets 39% in cash and 61% in stocks. On T-mobile . So he actually didn’t get about 300 million in cash .
It would depend what percentage of team he is interested in.He'd likely be borrowing anyways, no? so I'm not sure that matters much.
I would imagine the decision to finance or not is more dependant on what kind of financing rates he can get, though I suppose those rates may vary based on how much he's borrowing. It would depend what percentage of team he is interested in.
They would ,and rates aren’t the best atm, not to mention he’s liquidated a few assets, so maybe he puts cash down, or a big portion in cash.I would imagine the decision to finance or not is more dependant on what kind of financing rates he can get, though I suppose those rates may vary based on how much he's borrowing.
Some of the Mint Mobile pay off was in the form of T-Mobile shares from what I recall (hopefully correctly) after reading the article. I suppose he could sell some shares if he wanted to.Upwards of 300 million from mint mobile, owned 20-25%,
over 100 million from the Gin.
Probably the same personalities will either complain or chastise other fans for an incorrect attitude. LOL.I wonder what HF will look like with new owners and management. Will there be a role reversal in peoples opinions? Or will it continue the same? This is going to be facinating. Lol.
Yes scroll up , I listed the breakdown this morning on cash/shares.Some of the Mint Mobile pay off was in the form of T-Mobile shares from what I recall (hopefully correctly) after reading the article. I suppose he could sell some shares if he wanted to.
Not interested in what is being reported, we can’t stop you from getting sick though. The thought of the team staying in Kanata is actually making me sick, can we stop ?
Ya, I started to read the most recent posts first and then scrolled backwards to earlier ones afterwards. I think you read the same article that I did.Yes scroll up , I listed the breakdown this morning on cash/shares.

I see a quote today about Leblanc. He said we know the big problem in Ottawa is ice sheet. Maybe they can built a ice sheet in Lebreton sector and Sens use them for practiceThe thought of the team staying in Kanata is actually making me sick, can we stop ?
Surely, nobody is dumb enough to pay almost a billion dollars to keep it out there. Just seems absurd in general. We already know how that story ends. The thought of the team staying in Kanata is actually making me sick, can we stop ?
Well the only way that RR gets that much is that there is no debt to be taken care of. From all reports RR will walk away with $100-$150 million.Upwards of 300 million from mint mobile, owned 20-25%,
over 100 million from the Gin.
I don’t recall other teams getting multiple bids, all the time, unless I misremember.
Got any of these multiple reports, you’re referring to.Well the only way that RR gets that much is that there is no debt to be taken care of. From all reports RR will walk away with $100-$150 million.
It's not so much the amount of money he has on hand (he was always a viable bidder) but his "business savviness" that might be impressing the NHL. It's a different business model, but with how every one of his ventures has skyrocketed in value, I can see how it's tempting for the NHL and BoG.Also the sale involved gets 39% in cash and 61% in stocks. On T-mobile . So he actually didn’t get about 300 million in cash .
It’s definitely not about the money, don’t think I insinuated that. It's not so much the amount of money he has on hand (he was always a viable bidder) but his "business savviness" that might be impressing the NHL.
Hmmmm how much $ would they have. I really would like us not to have any more budgeting issues and I don't know anything about Roustan and First Nation (is that the name of one company or is it two companies?)From Northstarbets , we found another bidder . Roustan and First Nation have submit a bid. They want to develop Lebreton Flats
Graeme Roustan owns the hockey news, I think he used to own Bauer, not sure he does anymoreHmmmm how much $ would they have. The First Nations angle...is this for tax shelter/savings purposes? From Northstarbets , we found another bidder . Roustan and First Nation have submit a bid. They want to develop Lebreton Flats
