The tweet says GPS and the team's board of director's said no. Perhaps Remington said "we are willing to off a significant amount, but we need to understand what the NCC and City positions are". Team figures "no, we just want everyone to bid super high and then the winner can figure it out later"

Perhaps team is worried about the value they get if the NCC and City push down that value with their positions.

The Neko Sparks just seems like a bunch of millionaires trying to get together to play with the billionaires. And until it comes out who is backing the bid/where the funds are really coming from i’ll be sceptical.

I like the Andlauer group and also the Kimel brothers who i think have Desmarais part of their bid and have also been part owners in the past.

I think he picked the dancing partner that would put up the majority of the money while letting him be the face of the bid.

Could be that no further delays are important to this process and GSP felt the request would cause delays to have this remain an equal opportunity type of bid. Reynold's group wants to get to the table with NCC and the city again ahead of their final submission , why wouldn't other groups want that same opportunity. Sucks to lose the favorite in the race .
