Last night with those 2 phantom trip calls for the habs and today, any time you touch or lift a stick the boys got a call. But when Holl flies 2 metres in the air somehow the refs are dumbfounded how Holl was on the ice.

Eh, yes.

But it is not like he was the only one to miss the net today, and he did have to pick the corner.

The 3rd period wasn't good enough to make up for their garbage start to the game, but it helped a little. Engvall played himself off the team as quickly as he played his way on. Also, Tavares and Marner contributed nothing in both games so far and Muzzin and Holl were by far the worst pairing. Those are the sort of things that need to change

It's a game neither team should have won. Neither played all that well. Forsberg was excellent and the Sens had luck on their side today.

All in all, we need to play a lot better than we did today. I would start by switching up that 4th line, because that is two straight games where Amadio and Simmonds have been really awful, and it is not like we don't have Semyonov waiting on the Marlies for his chance.

I vote we keep the refs on to play crowd control, but put all calls outside the ice. They can and should remove all bias and human error with todays technology. Especially linesman to start. They’re useless

Dubas should have given Spezza 11 mil, dude was the leafs best player by a mile tonight…I still notice the same inability from this team..they can’t seem to get it done under pressure..last 2 mins Sens almost fully controlled the play..that can’t happen, commitment, focus and sheer will lacking…they need John Wick
