That 3rd line makes me sad.

There's a great importance of speed/skating in the modern day game, or being able to create space for yourself/linemates. They are hesitant and struggle in those aspects.

They will benefit greatly with Chytil if he's skating the way he has been skating. but I honestly don't know how I feel about that kids 2.0 line... you obviously can't breakup the top6, this is the best they have looked all season.

I kinda looked forward to Goodrow between Laf and Kakko, sort of like a big brother situation. And after seeing Goodrow centering the organization's prized possessions, and, well, I saw enough. He's not one for the job. When Chytil gets back, let's get the Kids Line going. Goodrow has zero offensive instincts.

Agreed. In my book Goodrow is a fourth liner.

Our biggest hole is the 3rd line in any sane iteration. We have to win in spite of it for this year.

They need Chytil's wind-up-toy go to either lug the puck up ice with speed or drive the other team back to make room. Chytil's game recently has been straight line speed.

Don’t think there are enough games yet to make a difference but if this was halfway through the season, I wouldn’t care how good the top lines look, I’d want the kids integrated into them.

Beautiful game but that third line needs Chytil. He's the best shot at that third line entering the zone with possession and then all he has to do is get it to Kakko. Kakko and Chytil work the boards well together.

Just wait till Kravtsov is centering Laf & Kakko.

Panarin has 32 points in 20 games since March 2nd. 16 points in 10 games since the deadline. Both stretches are 131 point/82 game paces.

He needs 13 assists in the final 9 games to tie Brian Leetch's franchise record of 80. And if he does it, it will be in only 77 games.

Just in case anyone forgot who the best player on the team was.

He had the puck on a string tonight. That said, I think two years ago he dazzled me even more. It was then he never had a turnover. It was something I never seen before. How could a hockey player go a game without a turnover? But he was doing just that, with regularity. It was incredible. So while he is having his best point production this year, I don't think he is playing his best hockey. Which is kind of incredible. I think we all saw games this year, thinking Panarin was off, and yet he still scored 3 points in that game. Of course tonight wasn't one of them, but I'm just saying,...

He could reach 100 points this year.

I thought Hunt was even more of a monster. He crushed everyone he possibly could. He finished every check with purpose.

It's gonna be a shame when Chytil gets back. Goodrow could move to fourth and knock Hunt out of the lineup.

Feels like the culmination of a successful rebuild to me. I think this is the start of a really good run for this organization over the next few years.

Really long way to go, and it won’t be easy, but this team absolutely has as good a chance as anyone to win the Cup.

It's likely Hunt and Reavo will rotate.

I thought Hunt had an excellent game. He was one of my 3 stars tonight.
Yea I like Reaves but he needs to sit in the playoffs if we're healthy. The only guy I want Reaves over is McKegg. Unless we're playing the Caps...I might not mind seeing Reaves taking a couple runs at Wilson

I like our chances going to the Finals. But those teams in the west give me pause. CGY and COL kicked our butts. They gotta be the top two favorites to win it all.
