Hopefully, Kreider can score 20-30 goals these last few games because this is f***ing ridiculous.

We had a first line before he was acquired though. Mika-Kreider-Whoever has worked since the new year happened and Mika woke up.

I've long said that the best thing that could happen for this team was Panarin pulling his head out of his ass 5v5. It's been happening.
Vatrano just fits so nicely on that line. Does some dirty work. Can shoot. Has speed and can keep up with Mika and CK. Gets on the d quickly to try to force a turnover. Laf was nice on that line but this line is much better with Vatrano on it.

Excellent deal!
I was gonna play it fancy and go to our following home game on 4/16, simply because scoring two games in a row is inherently against the odds, but you need to take a mortgage out on those original six games.

Plus, if he does it before then, that ticket is an albatross.

I kinda looked forward to Goodrow between Laf and Kakko, sort of like a big brother situation. And after seeing Goodrow centering the organization's prized possessions, and, well, I saw enough. He's not one for the job. When Chytil gets back, let's get the Kids Line going. Goodrow has zero offensive instincts.

Still reminds me lots of the 2005-06 team that got waxed by the Devils. Young team overall carried by seasoned vets for the most part and an emerging goalie. Let's hope the outcome once playoff time comes is different.

This team is much better. Was better pre-deadline, and is leaps and bounds better now. Better top end talent, better defenseman. Shesterkin is better than Hank was that season.

I had doubts Kreids would reach 50 with 10 remaining, needing 3.

For years he has been known to be so streaky, where he'd go stretches in a season wearing a cloaking device.

He hasn't had not one bad stretch this entire year! He has never been so consistent as he has been this year. And now,... 50 goals is just a foregone conclusion. Simply incredible.

I'm amazed. This is Chris Kreider we are talking about. He's never scored 30 goals in his career. What a joy it is to witness this.

Not to mention making the playoffs, Shesty's Vezina Trophy season, and I don't know what else? First place in the Metro?

Certainly a season to remember. LGR!

I hope this isn’t the high water mark for this team, because I think this is the most giddy, excited version of myself as a Rangers fan in a while. Feels great.

9 games to go. Could take first place in the Met. The one thing that stands out for me is that this team focuses in the big moment and gets it done, more times than not. It’s a little scary. This team is really tight. What a season.

The other thing is all of the depth guys, you can tell - are trying to keep their ice time. Hunt, Brodz, Reaves, Motte before he was hurt, Rooney, Braun, Schneider - they are all busting their asses. Diving for pucks. Making smart plays. Skating hard and finishing checks. Even a guy like Vatrano who could very well fit fine in the bottom 6. This is what it’s all about going into the dance. You need depth to keep the fire lit.
