I'm ashamed about who I am going for here.
Can't believe it.
Canada can never be taken lightly even though Finland seems to have better defensive forwards and goalie. That tells much really.
I see this game as a deciding factor for Finland if they will get the gold. If you can beat Russia in their capital's home ice, you can beat the final opponent (just like they did already in the prems eventho those games are history).
The radio about an hour back said he will most likely be playing.
The radio headline news broadcast that is.
That tells much really.

It depends on the opposition, you know. In this tournament, Finland is the stronger team on paper vs. everybody save for Canada and Russia. You're no underdog.

Finland already beat Canada, so it's hard to call them underdogs if they meet again. That game will start on equal footing.
Russia is still the favorite for this game however. That makes Finland the underdog.
I'm sick of this underdog ****.
You guys lay on **** all the time.
I don;t buy it.......................................4000 people playing all the time.
And every one of them is playing hockey.
You're no underdog.
Lol, funny how Finns already started to complaints about the ref
Isn't being underdog the opposite of being the favorite? And both teams can't be favorites. At best they're at equal footing, but that is not the case here. As good as Finland has played, Russia still has clear material advantage.Russia is still the fave but in no way are they garunteed to win.

Unless there's some term that describes a team that is not the favorite, but is not at a massive disadvantage either?
That tells much really.

You mean like 2007?
We are just hoping that it doesn't happen again. I think every other hockey fan would feel the same way if their team had lost the Golden game same way. It's no coincidence those refs have not been seeing another minute on international game since that game.
