Some of you really need to learn the game. Nurse played that perfect. The whole point of a Dman is angling a player off for easy vision and line of sight for the goaltender. No NHL goalie would have let that in he had vision the whole way. I would be shocked if a goalie let that in,in the AHL in that same situation.

Even Finland was pretty good Euro team this year and still we lost quarterfinal.
Thanks for that belongs to clueless head coach who had zero reactions when game was 3-1 for Switzerland.
Canada doesn't have those coaching issues what Finland had and still they ( Canada) would been able to beat us if we would have win our quarterfinal..

Really entertaining game so far...would be fun if the Switzerland won but wonder if they can keep up with Canada the whole game...Time will tell=)

the games here have been sloppy and boring.......the n.h.l playoffs have not.
case in point the swe-u.s game today versus the last wash-t.b game.
there is no comparision, the n.h.l playoffs have been better this year by a large margin.
a lot of years it's the reverse, but not this year, even the ice here in denmark has made for shitty games, fumbling all over the place.
I don't know what else to tell ya.

Lower hockey ? This Canada's roster (despite goalie) would probably sweep the ice with all four remaining playoff teams. Just compare Canada's 3rd and 4th line to 3rd and 4th line of remaining playoff teams.

I'd put Finland in the same category as Switzerland. Germany too.
Case in point, that game in the round robin against Finland was exactly what I was talking about, any time a Canadian player thought they were battling they got smacked with the box. You can see it all over the ice, Canadian players are hesitant to take the body.
