Ever heard of the saying "You can't win them all"

Even Messier who the troller above HeartforReinhart mistakenly uses as his example to criticise McDavid lost loads of big games.

Sure McDavid could have done better against the Swiss but to place all the blame on his shoulders is asinine. The real blame lies with the awful goaltending and numerous top players that couldn't be arsed heading over to the World's.

Make no mistake, I am not laying all the blame on McDavid.. All I'm saying is that he will be criticized due to being the best player in the world and the captain if the team.

If McDavid is being criticized in here that's just foolish. Switzerland played very well defensively and deserved the win. McDavid carried an underperforming Canadian team through several games at this tournament. He showed well. Few of the others did.

What makes this win even more impressing is the fact that this is almost canadas a-team. Swiss was missing players such as weber, sbisa, hischier, malgin, beartshy, hiller.

Excuse me, is this a joke? This year's team is definitely not almost A-team, not even close.
